Five steps to your first assisted interview
Interview is currently distributed as an unsigned (ad-hoc) build, so macOS needs one extra click on first launch. Total setup time: about five minutes.
Download and install
Download Interview.dmg, open it, and drag Interview.app into /Applications.
Open past Gatekeeper
Because the build is ad-hoc signed, double-clicking shows "cannot be opened". Instead: right-click Interview.app → Open → Open. Do this once and macOS remembers. If it's still blocked, run xattr -cr /Applications/Interview.app in Terminal, then right-click → Open again.
Grant microphone access
On first launch, macOS asks for microphone permission — click Allow. If you miss it: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → enable Interview. Screen-recording permission is only requested if you enable screen-context features.
Route the interviewer's audio
Your mic captures you; to hear the interviewer, route your call audio to Interview with a virtual audio device: install Loopback (Rogue Amoeba) or Audio Hijack, create a device that mixes your meeting app's output, and select that device as Interview's input in Settings → Audio. (For phone interviews on speaker, the mic alone is enough.)
Activate and go
Add your resume in Settings → Context, activate your subscription (purchase from the pricing section — the success page opens the app for you), then press the global hotkey during your interview to bring up the overlay.
Trouble? If the overlay doesn't appear over full-screen meeting apps, keep the meeting windowed. For anything else, write to support@clozo.ai.
