Every plan in the category, verified August 2026 — from $19/mo to $299/mo — plus what the free tiers actually do, who refunds you, and the cost-per-interview math.
AI interview copilots cost between $0 and $299 per month in August 2026, and the sticker price is usually not the real price: stealth is frequently a paid add-on, free tiers are often timed demos, and most vendors’ refund policies exclude the failures you’d want a refund for. This page consolidates every plan we could verify — each figure dated and sourced, with competitor-published reviews labeled as conflicted where we rely on them.
Disclosure: we build Interview Clozo and include our own pricing in the table. Prices in this category change constantly — several tools below show different numbers to different regions or rotate promos monthly — so treat this as a dated snapshot, and check the vendor’s live page before purchasing.
How much does each AI interview copilot cost?
Answer-first: entry pricing runs from $19/mo (Interviews Chat) and $19.99/mo (Cluely Pro, without stealth) up to $299/mo (Interview Coder); four tools sell lifetime plans between $599.90 and $1,499.25. The full category, verified August 2026:

Which copilot has the most usable free tier?
Answer-first: only Interview Clozo’s free trial lasts a full-length interview — 3 free interviews, 50 minutes each, real AI. Everything else in the category cuts off long before an interview ends, or locks the AI away entirely:
Sensei AI: sessions auto-terminate at 15 minutes — a real interview runs 30–60. Reviewers call it “a demo, not a free tier” (Interview Sidekick, 2026-05).
Interview Sidekick: a 2-minute test of the real-time assistant (homepage, fetched 2026-08-16).
Final Round AI: a 10-minute trial — reviewers report it requires a card and auto-charges when it ends (Sensei AI, 2025-06; Remote Job Assistant, 2026-03).
Interview Coder: the free download contains no AI at all — an installer preview, so the paid workflow can’t be tested before accepting no-refund terms (PracHub, 2026-07-30).
Cluely: ~3 meetings plus limited AI responses per day, resetting every 24h (Cluely’s own blog, Apr 2026) — usable, but undetectability is not included at any free or Pro level.
Parakeet AI: 10 free sessions of up to 10 minutes each, no card — the most generous timed demo in the category.
LockedIn AI: ~10 minutes/day of web tools; the stealth desktop app is excluded.
Answer-first: Interview Clozo is the only tool in the category whose window survives real use — 14 days on Monthly, 30 on Yearly, having used fewer than 200 generations. The rest of the field: Parakeet AI refunds within 7 days but only if zero credits were used; Final Round AI offers 72 hours but voids it after two sessions over 30 minutes (“substantial use”); Cluely allows 24 hours with video evidence and explicitly excludes detection and slowness; Verve AI refunds only verifiable technical failures or untouched subscriptions. Interview Coder, Sensei AI, Interview Hammer, Interview Sidekick, and LockedIn AI (monthly/quarterly) offer no refunds at all — LockedIn’s pricing page markets a “money-back guarantee” its own refund policy contradicts, and Interview Hammer’s EULA is non-refundable beneath a “Money-Back Guarantee” banner. The full sourced matrix is in our latency & detectability report.
Who offers a lifetime or one-time plan?
Three vendors sell one, and we do not. Interview Clozo is a subscription — $199/mo Monthly or $999/yr Yearly, which carries 4,500 generations a month under fair use, every update we ship while you are subscribed, and a 30-day money-back guarantee (under 200 generations used). Interview Coder’s $799 Lifetime comes with no refunds and no AI in the free tier, so you buy the workflow untested. Parakeet AI’s $599.90 Lifetime is the cheapest, but its Terms define “lifetime” as the lifetime of the plan offering, not the customer — it can be discontinued. LockedIn AI’s Lifetime was reported at $1,499.25 (Final Round AI, 2026-07, competitor source — treat as reported, not confirmed). A lifetime plan is a bet the vendor makes on its own retention; check what happens to the bet when the product fails you.
What does one interview actually cost on each tool?
Assume a typical loop of 6 live interviews in a month, one hour each. The math exposes what the pricing pages hide:
Cluely: interviews need the stealth tier, so $149.99/mo → ~$25 per interview. The $19.99 headline price doesn’t include the feature the brand is named for.
Final Round AI: monthly $90 with a reported ~4–5 session cap → $18–22.50 per interview, and you may run out of sessions before the loop ends.
Parakeet AI: 1 credit = 1 hour; single credits are $25, bundles drop to ~$13/hr → $13–25 per interview — genuinely flexible if you interview rarely, expensive if you practice daily (users report $200+ stacking up, via SearchTools.ai, 2026-07).
Sensei AI: $89/mo unlimited sessions → ~$15 per interview, browser-only.
Interviews Chat: $29/mo unlimited (Booster) → ~$5 per interview — the cheapest unlimited plan, with the browser-tab limitations that come with it.
Interview Sidekick: $80/mo → ~$13 per interview — and the price itself moved $10 → $40 → $60 → $80 across eight months.
Interview Clozo: Monthly $199/mo covers 4,000 generations — well over a thousand fully answered questions, far beyond any single loop → ~$33 per interview for one month, the highest per-interview figure on this list; at $999 a year, Yearly costs about five months of the Monthly plan.
The cheapest plan is the one that works under pressure and gives your money back when it doesn’t. Everything else is a coupon for a product you can’t return. See our pricing for the current numbers, and our 2026 ranking for how price interacts with latency and coverage.
Cluely Pro costs $19.99/mo ($11.99/mo billed annually), but undetectability is a separate tier at $149.99/mo since October 2025. A limited free tier exists (~3 meetings + limited responses/day). Verified on cluely.com/pricing, August 2026.
Per its official pricing blog (Jul 2026): $25/mo billed annually ($300/yr), $60/mo quarterly, or $90/mo monthly. Third parties observed up to $150/mo plus a Premium MAX tier on the live page. No permanent free plan — a 10-minute trial that requires a card.
Interviews Chat starts at $19/mo, Cluely Pro at $19.99/mo (without stealth), and Interviews Chat’s $29/mo Booster is the cheapest unlimited plan. The only free option that runs real AI for a full-length interview is Interview Clozo’s Trial — 3 free interviews, 50 minutes each.
Parakeet AI ($599.90 — “lifetime” of the plan, not the customer), Interview Coder ($799, non-refundable, no AI in free tier), and LockedIn AI (reported $1,499.25, competitor source). Interview Clozo does not sell one: its paid plans are Monthly ($199/mo) and Yearly ($999/yr). Verified August 2026.
Interview Clozo offers 14 days on Monthly and 30 days on Yearly, having used fewer than 200 generations. Parakeet AI allows 7 days if completely unused; Final Round AI 72 hours before “substantial use”; Cluely 24 hours with video evidence. Interview Coder, Sensei AI, LockedIn AI, and Interview Sidekick offer none.
