User reports fill in the rest. A Blind user found the Activity Monitor disguise renames the process to “system container” — while keeping the recognizable yellow logo next to it. Blind commenters report detection on CoderPad and HackerRank. And a competitor-run two-laptop test (worth weighing accordingly) found specific pop-up elements that “weren’t hidden from the screen share at all.” Meanwhile, the brand’s own viral origin story made it the most-recognized name in the category — the tool proctoring vendors and recruiters know to look for.
