Interview Clozo is made and sold by Clozo FZE LLC, a free zone company registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (registration No. 2629114574888), registered office CWS-1V-226222, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Ajman, United Arab Emirates ("Clozo", "we", "us", "our"). In this Disclaimer, "Service" means the Interview Clozo macOS application, our website and related services; "you" and "your" mean the person who downloads, creates an account for, or pays for the Service.

This Disclaimer forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please read it before you buy, and again before every interview. If you do not agree with it, do not download, buy or use the Service.

The short version

  • No software can guarantee it will never be seen, detected or inferred. Interview Clozo does not make that promise. If you need certainty that no one will ever know, do not buy Interview Clozo.
  • Whether the Interview Clozo window stays off a shared screen depends on your Mac, your macOS version, the meeting or assessment software you use, that software's settings, your own configuration, and things on the other side of the call that we cannot see or control (section 2).
  • Test your own setup before every interview (section 3).
  • We do not guarantee any interview result, offer or job.
  • Transcripts and AI suggestions can be wrong. You are responsible for everything you say and submit.
  • Use Interview Clozo only where your interviewer, employer and platform allow it — never in licensing, certification or proctored academic examinations, or in any assessment whose rules forbid outside help.
  • We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Zoom, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Apple, HackerRank or any other company named on our website.

1. General; the Service is provided "as is"

The Interview Clozo macOS application, together with the account and website services that support it, and everything we publish, are provided for general informational and productivity purposes and on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind except those we give expressly in our Terms of Service and those that the law says cannot be excluded (see section 10).

You use the Service on your own responsibility and exercising your own judgement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time, that it will meet your requirements, or that any defect will be corrected. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Any limitations and caps on our liability are set out in our Terms of Service.

2. No guarantee of non-detection

This is the most important section on this page. Read it in full.

2.1 What capture protection does

When capture protection is on, Interview Clozo asks macOS to leave its own window out of screen sharing, screen recording and screenshots. But whether that request is honoured is decided by macOS and by the software that is capturing your screen — not by Interview Clozo. Interview Clozo cannot force it, and it cannot see or change what any other program on the call receives.

2.2 It depends on things we do not control

How the Service behaves on your screen depends on your macOS version, your Mac hardware, the meeting or assessment software you use and its settings, later updates to any of them, and your own configuration. Any statement anywhere on our website that a setup is "supported", "tested" or "compatible" is information about what we have tried — it is not a promise about your setup, your software versions or any later release, and it does not mean that using the Service there is permitted (see section 5). We do not warrant that the Service will operate uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not represent that we have identified every method by which a screen can be captured.

2.3 Other ways your use can be noticed

Even when the window is excluded from a share, your use of Interview Clozo may still be noticed or inferred in other ways, including: a camera, phone or second device pointed at your screen; reflections; your eye movements, pauses, reading cadence or delivery; the content, structure, timing or similarity of your answers; your typing or audio; software installed on your Mac by an employer, school or assessment provider; remote-access, monitoring, recording, lockdown or proctoring software; and changes made by Apple or other vendors after our last test.

2.4 No warranty of non-detection

Accordingly, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representation or warranty, and give no guarantee, that Interview Clozo, its windows, its audio capture, its network traffic or your use of it will not be seen, captured, detected, flagged, inferred, recorded or reported by any person, software, device, platform or process. Nothing we say anywhere should be read as such a guarantee, and you should not rely on the Service not being seen, detected or inferred. If you have any question about what the Service does or does not do, contact us at info@clozo.ai before you rely on it.

2.5 What the in-app status can and cannot tell you

Any status the app shows — for example, whether capture protection is switched on — reports what Interview Clozo has requested and what it can check on your own Mac. It cannot see what anyone else's software actually receives, and it is not a guarantee that your window is hidden on the other side of the call.

3. You must check your own setup

Before each interview, and after any update to macOS, to your meeting software or to Interview Clozo, you are responsible for:

  • checking your meeting or assessment software's screen-sharing and screen-recording settings;
  • running a real test — share your screen or record into a second device or a second account, and look at what it actually shows;
  • checking whether any monitoring, remote-access, recording, lockdown or proctoring software is installed or running on your Mac; and
  • not relying on Interview Clozo if your test shows the window, or if you are unable to test.

If you skip these checks, you accept the risk of what the other side may see. Whether the Service behaves as you expect on your setup is something only you can verify, and you must verify it before you rely on it.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not promise that Interview Clozo will get you an interview, help you pass one, or lead to an offer, a job, a promotion, a certain salary or any other result. Hiring, assessment and admission decisions are made by other people, for reasons we cannot see or control. Anything we say about how the Service may help is a description of the tool, not a prediction about your result. Demonstrations, screenshots and sample answers on our website are illustrations, and some depict simulated interviews. Individual experiences vary, and past or illustrative results are not a guarantee of what you will experience.

5. Transcripts and AI output can be wrong — verify before you speak

Interview Clozo relies on third-party speech-to-text and AI models to transcribe audio and to generate suggestions. This technology has real limits:

  • Transcripts can mishear, drop or invent words, and can attribute words to the wrong person.
  • Suggested answers, code, calculations and explanations can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, invented ("hallucinated"), insecure, inconsistent with your résumé or simply wrong for the question — and can arrive late, or not at all.
  • Interview Clozo does not verify facts about you, about any other person, or about any employer, role or subject.

You decide what, if anything, to say or submit. You are solely responsible for everything you say and submit, and you must not present as true anything about yourself, your experience or your qualifications that is not true. Do not rely on AI output for any decision that matters without checking it against reliable sources and your own knowledge. The Service is an aid to your own preparation and performance, not a substitute for them.

6. Not professional advice

Nothing in Interview Clozo or on our website is legal, employment, immigration, tax, financial, medical or professional career advice, and we are not your lawyer, recruiter, agent, financial adviser or career adviser. The Service does not create any professional or fiduciary relationship between you and us. For advice about your own situation — including whether a particular use of the Service is lawful or permitted where you are — consult a suitably qualified professional. Do not act, or refrain from acting, in reliance on anything the Service produces without obtaining appropriate professional advice.

7. Recording laws are your responsibility

To transcribe questions, Interview Clozo processes your meeting audio. On every plan, both audio streams — your microphone and your Mac's system audio, which carries the voices of other people in the meeting, such as an interviewer — are transmitted in real time through a relay that Clozo operates to a third-party speech-to-text provider. The relay passes this audio through in memory and does not store it on our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Laws about recording, wiretapping, eavesdropping and privacy differ from place to place. Some require you to notify everyone in a conversation before it is recorded or processed; some require the consent of everyone in the conversation; and the law of another participant's location may apply, not only your own. We do not give legal advice on recording, notice or consent, we do not know the law that applies to your interview, and we do not check whether you have the permissions you need. You alone are responsible for identifying and complying with every law that applies to you and to the other participants, and for obtaining every consent and giving every notice the law requires, before you capture any audio.

Your obligations, representations and warranties about recording and consent — and your agreement to indemnify us for claims arising from your use and your breach — are set out in our Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy. This section does not replace them; it points you to them.

8. Other people's rules are yours to follow

Interviewers, employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, assessment and proctoring platforms, schools and examination bodies each set their own rules about notes, outside help and AI. Many prohibit such help, or require you to disclose it, and some assessment platforms' candidate terms prohibit any outside assistance at all. We do not know the rules that apply to your interview, and we do not check them.

Nothing on our website — including any statement that Interview Clozo works alongside, is compatible with, or has been tested with a named platform — means that using it there is allowed. Compatibility is not permission. Finding and following the rules that apply to you is your responsibility. Using Interview Clozo where it is not allowed can lead to disqualification, a withdrawn offer, dismissal, loss of platform access, academic penalties or legal liability, and you accept that risk. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits use in licensing, certification, credentialing and proctored academic examinations, in any assessment whose rules forbid outside help, and for impersonation or proxy interviewing.

9. No affiliation; trademarks

Interview Clozo and Clozo FZE LLC are independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by or connected with Zoom, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Apple, Amazon, HackerRank, CoderPad, CodeSignal, HireVue or any other company, product, employer or platform named on our website, and none of them has reviewed, tested or approved Interview Clozo.

Webex is a trademark of Cisco Systems, Inc. macOS and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other product and company names are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. We use these names only to identify those products and to describe compatibility truthfully (nominative use), and we do not use their logos, icons or brand designs.

10. Your statutory rights are preserved

This Disclaimer describes what we do and do not promise. Nothing in it excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, warranty or other term that you have under a law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified — including UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and the consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. Where such a law applies, our liability is limited only to the extent that law permits. Subject to the rights that law preserves, the warranty disclaimers in this Disclaimer and the limitations of liability in our Terms of Service apply.

If you are a consumer in New Jersey, no provision of this Disclaimer or of our Terms of Service that limits or excludes our liability, disclaims a warranty, requires you to indemnify us, or shortens the time to bring a claim applies to you to the extent New Jersey law makes it void or unenforceable, and every other provision continues to apply.

11. Information about other products; external links

Where we compare Interview Clozo with other products, we describe those products as shown in the public sources we cite, on the dates stated. Those products change, and our pages may fall behind; a comparison is our understanding at a point in time, not a statement of the current facts about another product. If you believe something we say about another product is wrong, tell us at info@clozo.ai and we will review it promptly.

Our website and the Service may contain links to third-party websites, software and services that we do not own or control. We provide those links for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security or practices of any third-party site or service, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and is governed by that third party's own terms and policies.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time — for example, when our tests, our features or the software around us change. Changes apply from the date they are posted; the "Last updated" date below shows the current version. Material changes are handled as described in our Terms of Service.
